Anyone see or know anything about this? I just saw it for the first time on the news now:

One Neshaminy High School student was killed and another was critically injured after the car they were riding in slammed into a tree, police said.
The crash happened early Sunday morning on South Flowers Mill Road in Middletown Township.
Police are still investigating the crash but said they believe a teenage driver was speeding on the hilly, windy road.
Three teenagers were in the car that smashed into a tree, police said. Two of them were 17-year-old girls and Neshaminy High students. One of the girls was killed instantly, while the other is being treated at St. Mary Medical Center.
Richard Smith, 19, of Penndel was driving the car when it crashed at 2:30 a.m., investigators said. Witnesses said he was walking around afterward.
"Looking at the car, you wonder how anybody would survive it, to be honest with you. It was that bad," said neighbor Fred Rudzinski.
On Sunday afternoon, four people were hurt in a separate crash that happened on the same street.
At Maple Avenue and North Flowers Mill Road, in the Langhorne section of Middletown Township, three adults and one child were ejected from the vehicle.
They were all rushed to local hospitals in critical condition.
His two passengers, a pair of female students at Neshaminy High School, were trapped inside the vehicle. The passenger in the front seat, who was identified as 17-year-old Jessica Kebert, was dead at the scene.

i just drove by as they were interviewing the neighbor.... there was alot of
debris on the side of the roade. that's really a awful that that girl died. It is a
really bad turn for inexperienced drivers. I always take my time around that
turn, especially in the rain and whatnot, it gets crazy slippery.

It's that one. That guy that lives on that turn is Fred Rudzinski, his son Eric was a good friend of mine way back. People are constantly wrecking in his front yard. He has lost track of the number of box trucks that get jammed into the R.R. bridge. Usually 1 per week!

It isn't the first time, and probably won't be the last. People just don't take the signs seriously.

It's always sad to see someone so young go without notice. Sometimes it's just not fair

yea people think its fun to fly over the hill, not realizing its a bit of a turn at the bottom where the bridge is...i saw this on the news when i was at the pub last night. Its really ashame that it happened, crazy that there was another major accident with in a few hours on the same road as well...The second accident (the explorer) looked pretty bad as well.

That sucks. Reminds me of the same turn from the C.B. East accident about 3 years ago.
Let it be taken as a lesson to those who are still here.
Rest in piece for those who aren't.

They should have left it as a one lane dirt road like it was in the 70's. If they fix the road, then it will be a new rt413 instead of going thru pendel/Rt1. All of the accidents and trucks that get stuck....It is a waste of tax dollars.
RIP to the girl that didn't make it.

19 year old guy was driving two nhs girls, one senior and one jr. the jr died and the senior is in critical condition at temple. the driver walked away w/ out any injuries, speed was the factor. i go to nhs and a whole gang of people were both absent today and in tears, i didn't know either girls but it really sucks to have something like that happen

The second accident was actually on North Flowers Mill Rd. near where the Middletown Police station is.

Actually, I was also saying GM...
but it's got the same body style as the olds cutlass from that era too. z34's had different rims.

i dont think the hill by the bridge is the bad one. its the 2nd hill going towards 213 that can **** you up. i jumped that hill once when i was like 16 with just the front tires. yea if u have the wheel turned anyway but straight you can go out of control. but i like that road. just sucks ppl have to drive like asses on it who arent experienced or in suv's. sucks about the girl dying.

i figured the kid was drinking and driving cause it happened at 2:30 in the morning, i mean what else would they be doing out that late other than drinkin somewhere?
i think it looks like an older chevy cav....
yea it sucks and all but i dont really feel bad for her cause me an insesitive ass if you want but i feel that it was her choice to get into the car with a kid that was drinking (unconfirmed) and she if she had a problem with the speed at which he was driving then she should have told him to slow down, and at 19 he SHOULD, i emphasize should be experienced enough to know that you CAN NOT go around that curve fast. i mean hes been driving for 3 years, i learned that in my first couple of weeks of driving.
idk just my 2 cents
