Figured I'd start a thread dedicated to wine. Even though I can't drink I still love the perfectly paired glass of wine with a meal or just to relax.

Here are some of my favorites

1. Villa Rosa Moscato d'Asti |http://www.snooth.com/wine/villa-rosa-moscato-dasti-2010/| If you like sweet whites this is for you. A must have for anyone who like the Moscato from Olive Garden.

2. Sand Castle Alpine Spice |http://www.snooth.com/wine/sand-castle-winery-alpine-spice-estate-grown-nv/|
|http://store.sandcastlewinery.com/products/alpine-spice-nv-estate-grown| Had this for the first time over the weekend. It tasted literally like applesauce with cinnamon in it. I tried it served chill and it was great as well as warm. I think it will work great in making some yams or to go with a nice bowl of vanilla ice cream. You won't even think its wine!

3. Sweet Bliss Pink |http://www.snooth.com/wine/sweet-bliss-sweet-pink-wine-nv-1/| This one I picked up in DE a few months back. I've been hooked ever since. It reminds me of a watermelon Jolly Rancher with a minimal wine aftertaste.

my favorite red:
1. Château Chasse-Spleen, Moulis |http://www.bbr.com/producer-713-chateau-chasse-spleen| it's kinda pricey but it's well worth it if you're into wine. the link has the basics of what it is and how it varies per year. it's a little difficult to purchase as you can usually only get it by the case, which varies from 6-12 depending on the year, and you gotta order it.

my favorite pink:
1. Pink Catawba |http://www.pfiwestern.com/pfi/western.wear/itemdetl.html?lvl1=MadeinUSA&lvl2=USAWines&item=MSU%20PINK%20CATAWBA| best bang for your buck if you like sweet wine. goes great with anything from salmon to lamb, and it's pretty damn cheap. you can pick it up anywhere really. i haven't met a girl that doesn't like it, so it's good starter points if you're taking a girl to a byob or something.

Barefoots Moscato is a staple in my house. Other than that I like Chardonnay's.

Where in DE did you get this? I went to our big local liquor store after work last night and they looked at me like this --->:bigeek: when I asked if they carried it.

I'm slightly late on this... but Vans Liquor is a small place about 2 blocks north of Grottos pizza on 202. I believe its a Wilmington address.

I found it when I was at the beach over the summer. Good stuff.
