HOW TO: get a salvaged title switched to a rebuilt title? and where?

just pretty much just what the title says im wondring how i can get a pennsylvania salvaged title switched to a rebuilt title(i live in NJ) and where do i do this all at? it was a theft recovered car blah blah ( and befor i get flamed for not searching, my search doesnt work im having problems with my javascript) thanks guys.

Go to a auto title place and they can tell you exactly what you need and need to do.

haha seriously? You never even thought to check the NJ DMV website? How about entering "how to get reconstructed title nj" into Google? That's what I did.

I can tell you how to get it turned into a PA r-title. But that won't do you any good if you're in new jersey.

^ more interesting, can you tell me how fast you have to go before the christmas tree comes off the car?

The rules vary from State to State. For instance in NY if you can pass the inspection the issue a clean title, NJ will always show the title are rebuilt as will PA. But again depends on where you are located.
