This is my review on Cipher Autos Racing Seats.
www.cipherauto,com

First off I'd like to say working with Cipher Auto was EXTREMELY fast on meeting my deadlines. I wanted to have these seats installed for Carlisle Performance and Style, and they made my deadline in less than two weeks, brackets, harness' and seats.

The seats came very well packaged and wrapped in plastic to prevent damage and debris.

the install.

the seats come in two parts and with three bolts and two screws they are easily assembled. They come with instructions on how to do it, but its very straight foward and not even really a need to use them.

Out with the old- in with the new.

First things first is disconnect your neg battery terminal.

remove your back seat by pulling upwards and popping it out.

Now pop the tabs off to expose the bolts on the front seats.

Unbolt the seats and unclip all the harness' underneath also. Remove the seat
Be careful if you have the powered seats its heavy! My guess is ~60+lbs.

Flip the Cipher seats over and bolt down the brackets to the seat. The brackets are a perfect match!

Place the seats in the car and bolt them down where you just removed the old seats from.

As you see here the seatbelt bolt is used to attach one point of the harness

And the back seat seatbelt used for the other point of the harness

Simple install ~1.5hr taking your time.

Comfort level is very nice. after installation I drove over 3 hours to the car show and I was comfortable the whole time. These seats really hold you in and grip well. I highly recommend them for those who are looking for a high quality inexpensive racing seat!!

Not shown:
my back seat in place. Its a tight fit but you can manage to slip your back seat back in.
nobody will be able to sit back there though.

I hope that you're not actually planning on driving with those harnesses installed like that.

Do those harnesses have any anti-sub stuff built in?

to each his own, I think the stock seats look infinitely better.

Gotta love "racing" seats you can't race with, buy a harness bar or use your stock belts don't be foolish.

This looks like a safe and quality setup.

You're out of your mind. Did you do any type of research before you did this or what? You do realize that a collision with the way you have those set up could result in extreme spine compression?

As for looking better, if that's a higher priority than safety, good luck.

Evomike hit it right on the head.
