I am looking to purchase some upgraded car seats however the seats are located in Minnesota which is too far of a drive to pick them up.

Well I have never had to deal with shipping something freight and I like to get some suggestions guys?

The owner of the seats said his company in Minnesota has a shipping dock and he could take care of shipping the seats out from there. However he has left it up to me to setup a company to pickup and ship the seats to my location in Pennsylvania.

Any suggestions of what shipping company to call to get this done without breaking the bank? I know its not going to be cheap but hate be be paying more for the shipping then the seats do.

The guy told me he heard of a website like Ebay where you can post shipping requests and if someone in the US is traveling the same way, they can offer to ship the items much cheaper then using a large freight company. No idea what this website is called however?

Get them shipped by greyhound. Its cheap and a lot less of a chance for damage to the product. They wont ship it to your house but you'll be able to pick them up as your closest greyhound hub. I'v shipped 3 fiero bumpers this way.:supz:

+1 on using Greyhound for seats. That's what I used to do.

Looks like they got a freight dock in two Philly locations which would work for me :)

I just CANNOT wait to have actually lumbar support in my car finally!

I had no idea you could ship with greyhound. I just always assumed they only moved people.

Thanks for learning me something!

You'd be surprised on what gets shipped by public carriers, and what I've shipped where from my job. Let's just say that they move people that walk off the transport of their own accord, as well as those that don't.

I bought seats online from a company and had both of them shipped together in one box for $75 through UPS. I'd say that is reasonable.
