sberk's gsx + gsxr
I wasn't really planning on worrying about getting a car until I got back, but a few weeks ago I fell in love with a GSX I found on Craigslist. It wasn't an insane deal but I thought it was at a good enough price to show intrest. I contacted the seller, Nick, who turned out to be an awesome guy, and ended up buying it a week later. My uncle picked it up for me in Jersey, and now it sits awaiting my return home. My uncle told me that after the transaction was complete, the guy stood there for a good 2 minutes staring at the car not wanting to leave (thats always a great sign the car was well taken care of). As for the car, it is a 1998 Mitsu. GSX On the car now.. 17 in. Kazara KZ-T wheels Nitto NeoGen high performance tires (8k miles on the tires) Clifford Security System w/ remotes Apex N1 3-inch Cat back Exhaust Short Throw Shifter Front & Rear Tower Strut Bars Injen Cold Air Intake with K&N Cone Filter Custom Upper Intercooler Pipe with 1g Crushed BOV 8mm Magnecor Spark Plug Wires Boost & Digital Air/Fuel Gauge on A-pillar Fuel Pressure Gauge under the hood Window Tint DSMLink V2.5 9K on current Clutch < to bad its OEM and will have to be replaced soon for something stronger... Parts waiting to go on.. Greddy RS BOV Dejon Intake EvoIII 16g 660cc Injectors Tial 38mm Apexi Turbo Timer Forced Performance Race Manifold PR Recirc o2 housing for 38mm Tial Wastegate Apexi N1 Downpipe Pioneer Avic-x710bt BALLIN Alpine Type R 12" sub Alpine Amp HKS 272's PR Front mount intercooler AEM Eugo Wideband I'm more or less going to be using this Journal to keep myself motivated to buy parts even though the car isn't even in sight right now. I'm always up for any comments, opinions on anything including ideas on upcoming parts... Update: So I decided that just the car wasn't enough. I found a deal that was too good to pass up so now I added something new to the collection. 06 gsxr 600 with 6k miles.

Walbro 190? Why not just get the big boy just incase you feel like pushing a bit more power one day?

I'm having mixed feelings on what one to get. I don't really want to overkill it with a 255, so I figured a re-wired 190 would be fine. but i see what you're saying about possibly wanting more down the road.
Right now, I'm trying to see if its better to run a wastegate of the manifold or o2 housing, or if it even matters. If it doesn't I'll probably order the dnp recirc'd o2 flanged for the tial.

I'd go with the 255, no reason not to especially if you already plan to get a afpr setup.

I personally love the sound you get from right off the manifold, both of my setups were run like that.

Opinions...
http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/pro...cat=127&page=1 it would come tapped and flanged for a tial, as well as already tapped for the EGT for about 325. I don't think $65 is really worth paying for porting.

The 255 will have the flow if ever needed and wont sacrifice drive-ability in the least bit, shoot for the 255.
My personal opinion...I would run the FP Mani and a 02 flanged for the 38mm. 1, it will look better 2, Its beast, and 3, its more efficient to run the WG off of the collector or 02 rather then a flange on the runner. THEN pick up OR have JMF make you the baller FP shield

yeah, once my check clears, maperformance.com said they would do $1095 shipped for a fp manifold, recirc'd SS o2 housing for 38mm, tokico illuminas all around, and tokico 1.75" drop springs.. so thats gonna be the next order in a few days.

NICE, maperformance is one of the best vendors i ever dealt with, and continue to buy almost every part from them because of it.
