For this sort of stuff I've heard the difference btw tig and mig is just looks. Both work just as well. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah and I'm picky...

well tig welding usually doesn't restrict flow, cuz it doesn't really blob up like mig

ever since we got the miller tig, we kind of have the mig collecting dust. we only use the mig for hard to get spots the tig cant get too.
