I originally bought an 89 240sx to use as the basis for my project. I was planning on swapping the SOHC KA24E for a SR20DET, removing the abs and doing a 5spd swap. After the car just sat in the body shop untouched for about 2 months, I've decided to start with a car that is a little closer to my goals and do the body work myself. So I picked up this 91 240sx hatch on Valentines Day. Happy Valentines Day to me! (Don't worry I got my gf a card). It has a DOHC KA24DE which simplifies the swap process when it comes to the power steering, it's a 5spd and does not have abs. The wheels and tires only have 250 miles on them and it has a nismo short shifter and cold air intake. Just last night I started tearing the car apart to prepare for the body work. Here are some pics of the car when I got it and a couple of goodies waiting to go in. I'll take some updated pics tonight. Yes the wing is coming off. Anyone want it? Painted Valve Cover and CAI Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Will be replacing when I do the 5lug and 300zx brakes. I am going to be building the other motor though. My buddy is buying my other s13 and the motor in this one. The Microtech showed up on my door yesterday. Should be a fun install. I've actually installed one on my Mazda 6 before so it shouldn't be real difficult.

No Sorry. All the pics that are up there now is exactly the way I bought it.
I def will. I've never tuned a turbo motor before though. I know enough to get the thing drivable so I don't detonate the motor but I will probably talk to you guys about fine tuning

Don't worry I knocked her out before surgery. I expect to have the motor out either tonight or tomorrow. All depends on if the g/f works or not. I blew her off last night to work on the car. Shhhh
