Scratches from Car Wash

So I'm sure you all know that its probably a really dumb idea to take a new car to an automatic car wash, but I figured I'd warn you anyways. I couldn't find a manual car wash the other day so I finally gave up and reluctantly went to an automatic one, Quick Clean & Careful Car Wash in Bethlehem. NEVER EVER go there if you have a new car; it scratched the sh!t out of my car. I'll post some pics of the scratches later when I get home from work. Luckily they aren't really deep, so I can probably buff them out and cover them up with some wax, but nevertheless, my car now has scratches all over it!!!

Doesn't look like much, but I really baby my car and hasn't had any scratches until now.

I have no experience with buffing. The scratches are linear, not swirls; most are about 3 inches long, and they are in clusters scattered about my car, with a bunch of on the roof. Sorry I don't have pics handy, I'll get them up later.

That's why I NEVER take mine to an auto car wash, nor do I ever use them brushes on anything but my tires...All hand washing for me. Sheeeeit, I washed mine up last friday, and the soap was freezing to the top of my ride before I could rinse her off. lol

I only use the touchless car washes. I'll be damned if I'm gonna wash my car by hand in 30F weather.

I co-own a mobile detailing /fleet wash business. Im out in brodheadsville but in your area often. If you want one day when its warmer I can swing by or we can meet up somewhere and I can get those out for you.

Chaos can vouch for me...or this photo can
