An update! I've been following your thread on NASIOC too, good stuff.
The throttle setup is very cool and I'm sure something you spent a lot of time on. I can't wait to hear what it's like when you start tuning with the roller barrels

And it's weird seeing a Subaru engine without an intake manifold top center

I may have missed it but how does the intercooller air get split? Will it be even? I thought this was more of a tt set up.

Ok. I see it but how do you get even air to both sides? Is it something with the large tanks? By the way, that is crazy, nutz and anything else you can think of. Looks like fun.

P.S. What does Phil think of this set up? Are you gonna have him tune it still?

Intercooler is tack welded and finished (on my part anyway). Goes back for seam welding and then some powdercoat.

I have to fix a tough vac leak at both sets of fuel rails due to me being a moron when I designed things. Now it is a bitch to fix.

Bill

I just got the custom IC today. Once I get the ITBs done, it is time to fab the manifold out of Al piping (which I already have). Hopefully it turns out good, but I have to figure out the throttle conversion for the STI's DBW. I'd like to just move to a throttle cable and lose it, but I then have to rewire the TPS to the TGV sensor mounted on the passenger side ITB. I hope I could find a subaru cable ASS'Y at the junk yard to use.

Bill
Im a engineering student and while i agree solid works is better, have u seen autocad 07? They have made some huge changes and big improvments. Its almost comparable to solid works.

Wow, coming along sir. Great work!!!

I do have one question, is it just me or does that intercooler look too big for that turbo? I don't know your specs, that's why I ask.
