The UTEC should be good for a nice substantial whp gain. Im not sure exactly how much you will get, but it should be well worth the money. I had one on my 03 WRX and it spunked it up quite a bit. All depends on the tuner and how its tuned as well. Good luck.

It might be worth scheduling a day to head down to Turboxs to have them tune it for you. If you didnt know, they are in maryland....could be a nice little road trip.

$450 for a 1 hour road tune, and 1 hour dyno tune.

And I think they give you 4 new maps too.

Very much worth it.

UTEC is good but it does need constant tuning....
The timing on UTEC is static so I often observed that the transition from factory ECU to UTEC creates the unwanted imbalance to take away the smootheness of the car. It is more pronounced with the weather change..

As an example, stock ECU would run 12 deg then UTEC would run the timing and jump to 18 deg.... The delta in timing will be felt as hesitation.... Other than that it is OK EM. I would go for ECU reflash from a reputable tuner if you are not going to mod heavily...
