I want an older Porsche so bad to restore/work on/build. Never seem to be able to find one thats not a n/a 4cyl

or if its a turbo or 6+cyl itts overpriced! Beautiful cars

yea, they are expensive... the red car's value is in the 6 figures... its crazy, they are worth more than the newer ones! you can pick up a base 996 carrera in the 20s

Yup, I been telling him about you guys, Idk if he wants to really mod it yet. Just bought it not even a year ago. Its not the same brother on the board.

cant blame him, i didnt "get it" until i was around them every day... real porsche-heads will tell you the porsche died when the air cooled car era ended (i kinda agree) im friends with the guys from rennline and they agreed that they like their 993 better than their GT3-rs (see picture 19 for 993 and 18 for GT3) we sold our 997 turbo over our two 993's to give you an idea.

Im talking locally. I know that they are generally more expensive, but 12k for a non running Porsche 944 turbo (Not Turbo S) is ridiculous and that seems to be the only one for sale in my area

you arent looking in the right places, check out rennlist... but if you REALLY want to see some aircooled wonder cars check out these guys, their inventory is just incredible and they are east coast:

wow...for a split second i thought this was a CTr but i noticed it doesnt have the Ruf wing...that would be amazing if it was to see one out and about.

regardless this is my favorite model...96-ish.
i love Porsche...one will be my retirement gift to myself...lol. or sooner if i hit the lottery.
