Maaco is your only option for 'cheap', and if you want to prep it yourself.

Sounds like a $200 job if your not paying "insurance price"

just my honest opinion. When you go to a shop and tell them you prepped it yourself.. they usually want to smash their face into a wall. I know we've done some jobs where customers "prepped it themselves" and it ended up taking twice as much work to fix their "prepping".

i got it. maybe ken block moved to ford because he saw the results of this comparison test, and couldnt stand the shame of driving for subaru anymore.. i mean after all subaru did lose a legitimate performance comparison to what was once a car for secretaries and librarians.

macco does not do bodywork, or they do a **** ass job, i forget which. I have seen somewhat nice looking $400 paint specials from macco, of course the owner preps it right and the star were aligned properly.

yup. That's why I said Maaco if he wants to prep it himself. lol. We won't touch anything that a customer has prepped. It's too much of a liability. Maaco doesn't care though.
