Minimum tread depth to pass a pa state inspection is 2/32.

actually your wrong on that. it can be 1/32 on edge, 8 in middle and 1 on other edge and pass. to fail it needs to have 2/32or less on adjacent treeads to fail. litterally need to be beside each other. or if secondary rubber is showing on edge it fail automatically or if a nail is in a non repairable spot on tire it fails
