4g63 N/T to 4g63 turbo swap question

My friend has a mitsubishi eclipse 2.0 with a 4G63 N/T engine.
Would I be able to swap the non turbo with a 2.0 4G63T Engine.
I know most turbo models are AWD (All Wheel Drive) but could i bolt up the turbo engine to a non turbo trans?

The 4g63 NT motor looks the same as the turbo motor and you can swap them. The turbo motor will have lower compression pistons but better cams.

Btw, what are you trying to accomplish with this swap? If you are just trying to turbocharg the car then you might as well leave the motor alone and get parts off a turbo car and throw them on. Everything bolts right up.

But compression and internals are different in a NA compaired to an turbo car

N/T motor will have the same crank and rods but thinner higher compression pistons and no oil piston squirters. Still, this setup has made up to 300whp, reliably. Obviously, the turbo motor will be a little tougher.
