Looks great. From the vid sounds like you need to upgrade to some RS3's or Dunlop Z1's.

just a small update...
trans out: clutch/flywheel out new clutch/flywheel installed trans is apart and the stock diff is out. gotta get the new bearings on the new diff and then i'm ready to reassemble/reinstall. did find this stuck the to magnet in the trans though... it's a bellville washer that's broken in half. now I just need to figure out where it came from... |

found out the broken washer goes behind one of the spider gears in the old diff so no worries there.
went to install the new diff and ended up cracking the case putting the trans back together. got the case welded up today. hoping to put the tranny back together in the car this weekend and getting the car ready for the nepa closer 10/8.

wow... haven't updated this for a bit.
got the trans case welded and all buttoned up in time for the end of the NEPA season. the LSD changed the whole dynamic of the car. where it used to grip on entry and push on exit, it pushes on entry and tucks and grips on exit. threw some more camber in it for Sunday and the car just grips. Can't wait to get some better tires on it. I've got a set of fender cowl braces coming for the car and finally tracked down a 4th bronze wheel but other than that, not much going on. trying to take care of some debt and get back on track so the car is on the back burner at this point. I've actually have tossed around tearing the car down and doing a long term build on it using the proceeds from selling parts taken off the car that won't be used in the new build... but haven't made a definitive choice yet. and a pic or two cuz hey... who doesn't like pics and some older stages of the car
