most of the time an oil sandwich (or a block fitting) is used for the oil feed and a bung on the oil pan is used for the oil return

That's the way most people run theirs by far...including how I'm doing mine.

But what if they encouraged it AND the stickers turn out to be awesome? They COULD POSSIBLY say something like "I love Mike and would turn gay for his tattooed, bmw driving, new york living ass". just saying.

What kind of car is this?

If it is a Nissan, a Company named Custom Steel makes a nice adapter that allows for an oil feed, aftermarket oil pressure sender, and the stock oil pressure sender. It could probably work with other cars.

For the oil return, the key is to have the drain above the level of the oil in the oil pan. The location will be different for different engines. In my Sentra I will be tapping a flat spot on my block just above the oil pan. Some cars, you can have the return on the oil pan itself. To add some more to that, some companies sell a sandwich spacer for the oil return that sits between the oild pan and block. Not only does it provide a pre-tapped oil return but it also increases oil capacity.
