Door Panel Molding

I need to reattach the molding on my door panel. The guy before me used a rather cheap looking glue. I used adhesive remover to get most of that crap off. What would you recommend to use to throw that molding on? Double sided tape? Glue?

Go to a body supply shop, and get the grey double sided foam tape. Its basically the same stuff OEM's use to attach bodymoulding to the car from the factory. It comes in different sizes, so look for the stuff that closest matches the width of the lip oon the flange on the back of the moulding.

awesome. Now i try to use the double sided tape but the molding is a little warped. I dont have a heat gun though. does anyone have any suggestions to bend this thing back into place? Its not severe. its just small things that pull away from the body itself.

I picked up some Valvoline Pliogrip for my lip. Holds great. I googled for the strongest double sided body shop quality tape I could find and that is what I settled on.

im kind of bringing this back up again. Ive tried several products to clean this mess up. This is just adhesive that i cant get off. The best i did was using a razor. Anyone know what i can use or any techniques to get that crap off? thanks.

Goo Gone seems to be fine on paint. I have used it quite a few times on tar and bugs and other stubbern crap that gets on your paint.
