Skyline R-34, Dodge Viper, White Talon

So I saw 3 sick cars in a about the time its taking me to write this post.

As we were closing up my ski shop in East Brunswick I saw... rather heard a white Skyline R-34 go driving by, I was able to catch a fleeting glimpse of its rear bumper by the time I made it to the front window.

Then 5 minutes later at the East Brunswick Sunoco I pull up behind a black Dodge Viper with some after market wheels.

I then step out of my car to see a real nice Tsi Panda with some green wheels go by on rt 18. First boosted DSM I've seen in the area besides mine in over a year.


So who owns the Talon here??

Nice Nice. I wasn't in my car when your skyline went by. I was helping close up Pelican Ski for the day.

I drive a green Talon Tsi though.

I was up there agaoin just now.

Undercover officers pulled up next to me on 18.

Asked about the car and what not.

Then said; " how much power does it make?"

I answered.

They then replied;

"We are going to turn ouir lights on and stop traffic on 18.
We want to see you launch that ****ing thing"

I said " really? Your jooing right?"

Officer replies; "No, don't worry you woon'kt get in trouble, just rip it for us."

I looed over and said "Uh, okay sure if you say soo".

I bring the revs up as traffic is stopped, and go.

Chirp first, second, then third,

Then I'm gone.

True story.

I am not bragging, think it was a dumb thing to do.

But if you guys were in my shoes;

Would you have:

A) done the same or
B) just drove off slowly and risk pissing the cops off

I don't know whether to be excited about this or annoyed.

Really funny, a similar thing happened to me... I was driving in North Philly and some kids thought it would be funny to walk extra slow in front of my truck against the light then stopped and flipped me off when I politely honked at them, so I let the clutch fly and scared the **** out of them. As I was flying down 15th street just about to rip it into second, a cop pulled out in front of me.

I was behind him for a little bit and then we both turned onto broad street and we wound up next to each other. We both had the windows down and he goes "was that you spinning tires back there?" Naturally I put on the act of "what are you talking about?" and he said he knew I was and then asked if I wanted to race him from Dauphin to Susquehanna... (one block from red light to red light when the light went green). I asked him if he was joking and I said "I'd love to but then you'll just pull me over." He said no just in good fun let's go and we legitimitely raced from one light to the other, and then he turned off onto Susquehanna. I was dumbfounded.

Hahaha that is epic. I have heard nothing but bad stories about the cops in the Brunswick areas. Good to hear that you found a few cool ones.

If you're referring to my story, no this actually happened right by Temple University in North Philly. Cops by the stadium in South Philly are probably more worried about driving infractions with all of the traffic the stadiums bring in. It's good to have a little fun every once in a while I guess?
