That's amazing response. Great way to start off the car season this 2011. Good cause, good dude, good vendors, good shop, good hot dogs, good cars, and great people.

i spoke with the guy in the green GTI and got his email while at the shop. I'll be sending him his video later today.

Pretty happy to see that "final" total, thanks again to everyone involved.

This turned out really well. Sad I couldn't make it.

FYI... you put a beating on the TST Sonic meet last year by $1000 bucks!

To be honest, raising over $6,000 doesn't surprise me at all. It was a very well organized event, a lot of cool stuff to be had, the RT guys were well organized as always and cars moved on and off the dyno's quickly, and it seemed like everyone there was just having a good time, enjoying the festivities and donating a little money. Best part, I really don't think more than 200 people showed up to this thing, so that's an average of over $30 a person!

Now just waiting for Justin's pics and vids!

Id like to extend a personal thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. R/T Tuning and all the guys there who dedicated a Saturday of their time to run the show. Vince, who ended up donating all of the money that the dyno runs generated. Tony @ Dan Lepore & Sons for donating over $1000 in cash, as well as donating the money to have the t-shirts made up (and for bringing out the Ferrari). Turn 14, S-Max Intercoolers, and Rockstar Energy for the generous contributions, James Pierce for bumpin the tunes all day, and my dad for having the hotdogs on LOCK! Honestly there are too many people to thank for everything... We all did an amazing job pulling everything together for a great day, for an even greater cause!

Also thanks to everyone taking pictures and video- somehow I managed to escape being photographed! (phew)

You guys cant even imagine how huge this is for Mike and his family. Its really amazing that we all pulled together like this to make a difference for someone!

I still have PLENTY of t-shirts left, so anyone that wants one, send me a PM. I'll either mail them out, or meet up with anyone that wants one.

And if anyone has video of the green GTI on the dyno, please shoot me a link. My buddy was super bummed when his videos didnt come out.

this is absolutely awesome - tip of the cap to everyone who was out there.

I cant believe how much was accomplished saturday. And to be completely honest. It was very touching to have all of these complete strangers come out and show support. I mean I really didn't know anybody that showed up. Aside from my best friend and Troll, and a handful of people Ive met once or twice, that includes Ken who set this up. I didn't have any friends there. Which is sad and awesome at the same time. Sad that my so called friends can't even make an appearance to show support. And awesome to find a bunch of decent people with similar interests come out and support a fellow member that they dont even know. Again, Thank You very much for your support saturday!
