Awesome track, Never road it in a car...But it's a goddamn blast on my Bike...Got my knee down in turn 7 and 9 last time out...Watch turn 2 going into the chicane, Up hill right hander that drops a little at the crest...I see cars get squirrely all the time when I'm there on a combo day.
Wish I had the coin to run the Genesis!! Have fun boys/girls

If there is snow, we will reschedule to a later date. The event runs rain or shine. You should sign up to see how much fun it is. We originally started the event last year to attract first timers to HPDE/track days and provide an environment where egos will be in check and everyone will walk away having learned something new and hopefully hooked on the sport/hobby. What kind of coin are you talking about for running the Genesis aside from registration fee? If you're thinking you need to do some special prep to your car to run the event, you're mistaken. All you need is a car in good working order, life on your tires and brake pads and fresh brake fluid.

I'm talking about the Reg Fee...Lol
I could swing it...I got other stuff to pay off before I start spending my extra money on playtime. I saw a Scion Xb run on lightning...If they let an Xb Run they damn sure better let a pacifica.

i was serious about the pacifica. i know njmp would allow but not sure if the group would. i've seen svt lightnings and srt8 jeeps there before. i'm not new to hpde just so you know. i have about 20 events under my belt. the reason i asked about the pacifica is that is the car i would probably bring since the sti will more than likely be getting a roll cage at the time.

its surprisingly nimble. power isn't good,as far as slush boxs go it has an amazing transmission, brakes are adequate. but the balance of the handleing is excellent. i really want to try it on track and by it not being my normal car it will make me drive properly and keep me fresh for the season

I've played with the idea of taking my DD for a few laps last year but now I'm afraid it'll splode. I'd like to take my wife's new Outback 3.6 (six cylinder) because it's such an upset car and would make me be on the throttle a lot faster and earlier than my Evo just to keep it balanced. I think I'm bringing an extra car for shuts and gigs this year and I have a choice but not sure what ill choose.

Finallymysti,
We talked to NJMP and our insurance provider for the event about the Pacifica and the response was "no minivans allowed on the track." Sorry to report since I was fully excited at the possibility of having to point by some badass Chrysler.

so either they don't know what a pacifica is and it would be allowed. or they classify it as a minivan and it isn't.
either way i wont count on running it and i'll be there with something to run. i appreciate the pacifica support but lets move on. bump for this. i'm psyched |

As of the end of the weekend, we have 21 total signed up. We have a number of excellent instructors committed. I'd like to see a few people from this site get signed up.
We are capping cars at 60, so get in before we have to turn you away.
