Smile Hella 60mm Projector & HID Conversion Photos & Vids

Here is are two quick videos so you can see (I'll add more later)...

Hi & Low Beam:

Low Beam only:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FwxAUNOnzw

And some photos:

The uptick of the cutoff is really bugging me out. I'm going to take these apart shortly and adjust the cutoff. I want it flatter like my MH1's. Comparison...

Morimoto MH1 in my Jeep:

Hella 60mm in my Trans Am (Before I leveled it out):

Once I modify the cutoff shield I'll take new cutoff photos as well as ground shots.

What do you all think: Should I paint the brackets black or leave them as is?

Yours looks good, I def agree you should paint them black for a sleeker look.

I really need an expert with this stuff to tweak my headlights. I think my one projector needs to be rotated like 5 or so mm to be level. I also feel like they shine way too far to the left.
Sorry the pics suck so bad.

Thanks guys.

Regarding the projectors on your car: It's hard to tell from the photos. You definitely need to rotate the right projector to the right. It's also normal to have more light to the right of the uptick. Are you on HIDPlanet? If not, join it ASAP.

Projector pattern looks decent, would look better flattened out a bit and no uptick, but looks like decent output.

As for the look of the headlights... not a fan. they just look cheap IMO

Love the output of them, but dont like how they look. Is it ok to have the projector exposed like that? What are your chances of damage from bugs, rain, rocks and whatnot?

They cost me like $30 a pop so if they break I am not worried. I'll get some more. I get these through my work as we're a Hella dealer. Looks-wise, I agree, not a huge fan, but for the output it cannot be beat. No one sees 'em during the day anyway!
