i just got a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro... its the 'beater'... got some things to fix up on it though cause thats just how i am. looks kinda blah with its monster truck wheel gap and 15" wheels so i might have to do something about both of those things but otherwise its all about just maintaining the thing and having it get me from point a to point b in comfort.

Yes, I am on this site and yes I have a vw or audi. Current: -'74 standard beetle(L20b brilliant orange- though not so brilliant anymore), 1915cc turbo(draw through setup, straight to4e drawing through a demon 575cfm 4bbl) -'83 rabbit(LE7Y diamond silver), diesel automatic(<1000 auto diesel rabbits made), stock except for coilovers Previous: -'74 super beetle(L80z sahara beige), 100%stock autostick, was extremely original, sadly traded for rabbit as a respray/bodywork would have been too costly. I brought it out of an 11year storage in '02 with 50.5K miles and traded it with 65.6k -'91 Jetta carat(black), 5sp 8v digi, bought at donation lot for .6 stacks. Eventually lost oil pressure and sold it. Good times in that car- carried me through most of my less-than-scrupulous days along with the above -'88 Jetta(red), 5sp 8v digi, technically owned for about a week. Gave to a friend in hopes of receiving payment gradually down the road. Got back $200 of $800. -Dumborah's '88 Jetta(gold), auto 8v digi, the brute. Lots of juvenille delinquency ensued in that car. Including but not limited to: toilet heaving from the rear seat, an angry husband(no not that) trying to rip friend out of pass seat whilst speeding away, a speedy getaway from taco bell as angry workers storm out the place in pursuit, sled towing at 40mph(I nearly got slammed into a mustang on a circular metal sled the size of a trash can lid- sparks a flyin'), many tolgate runs(auto jumping at the dip on the famous tolgate road), and off roading of course. 93 93/93 |
