it is a 1973 914 porsche hard top convertable and a turbo wrx motor goin into it
keep in mind this car is 1900 pounds and will be rwd...u can watch the video just to see how fast these cars are with this conversion.. that is if u can get it to hook up hahaha |

I think those 3 phrases right there just about cover it. I knew what it was but I wasn't sure if you were tossing in a DOHC 2.5L N/A.

This car is going to be bad as hell, and I cannot wait to see how well you do it. Good luck with the swap and finding parts for the 914... it shouldn't be too bad and the product will be way worth it.
So jealous you have that (semi) clean 914, how lucky is that!

here is the story behind the car..
my father purchased the car new in 1973 for 6400$ i think he said...he drove it everyday to work...got a new job in atlantic city and couldnt drive it back and forth that far everyday...so decided to keep the car and park it...it has 52k on the clock and was parked for the last time in late 1980 something...around 1989 or so...and has been sitting ever since the car was turned over to me at my college graduation 4 years ago...so that is where im at now..so after doin some research and realizing there is not much left to do to my wrx,...i decided to turn my attention to this i am goin to put it on jack stands this weekend and get some new tires and a battery and see if i can get any life out of it at all |

there is a second part to this conversion...hahaha
the motor u see in the pics is being used for the heads to bolt onto a 2.5 sti block to drop into my wrx, and my wrx motor is being pulled to put in porsche, mmmmmmmm 10-12 weeks will i get converion kit and everything |

I really like this project, there was actually jus one in either sportcompact car mag or modified magazine. Really opened my eyes to these and i looked into them after reading the article.

yea the color is a bit bright but i like it man,...not bad considering the paint is 35 years old, i wish my subaru paint held up that good
i would love a satin black paint job, wide body. and some gold mesh bbs mmmmm one can only dream, maybe one day but here is some more pics from today |
