So here is the official thread for my Sierra.

Before going to the shop before repairs

Sitting at the shop awaiting brake lines, fuel lines, and head gaskets. Also yanked off the running boards.

Figured since it needed new tires I might as well order new wheels too.

Probably, not grandfather had it installed right after he bought the truck new and I don't feel like having to deal with having the holes welded and having the roof repainted.

Just go to a hardware store and get plastic plugs/inserts and RTV them in place to seal.

Nah I wouldn't do that. I would do it the right way and actually get the roof fixed. The visor doesn't bother me.
