Lol basically summed it up... If your looking for power it would be in your best interest to sell your car and get a dsm with a 4g63 motor...unless of course your really attached to this car or are trying to do something new etc

Agreed, in my opinion it's not worth the long run. Too much money for too little hp. Simple bolt ons would be the furthest. What's your goals?

There has to be something out there for the 420a platform, but the one that I can suggest is MegaSquirt EFI system. You can get the whole she-bang for about $500 which would be the ECU, wiring harness, tuning cable. Then you download TunerStudios (free) to tune it. The system has plenty of support and you can find everything you need on www.diyautotune.com

I would recommend the MS2v3.57. It's not the newest system out, but it's the newest release of the MS2.

My buddy has a fully built 420a. With receipts totalling way over 10k. If your interested hes probably parting it out. He bought an evo and is focusing on that.

The 420a is good for one thing and one thing only: daily driving. It's the red-headed step child of the DSM family.

They can make power. Really similar in design to the srts 2.4.

Anything can make power man, it's just for a 420a to make the amount of power a 4g63t will with a simple bolt on you'll be spending 3x more

My 98 Neon had one, nuff said. People managed to get them to be not totally slow with homemade intakes, exhausts, and MOPAR chips back in the day, by which I mean low 15 second passes. It just ain't worth it. I remember this guy Derek had a white DSM with a turbo 420a which was pretty nice, but that's been loooong gone
