Honda Owners, please read this and learn how to not have your cars stolen.
For gods sake, please install a master electrical kill switch for like $20 in wire and parts. I did it on my Rx7, with the battery mounted in the trunk and the master power switch hidden behind a panel in the front I have never had a problem with it. There are literally hundreds of places you can hide the switch within reach of the drivers seat. I dont understand how some of you guys could not install one, I have a switch, a pushbutton under dash and a second hidden key switch not within reach of the drivers seat for when I have to travel to St. Joes or CHOP. I'll actually get out of the car, shut down the master power and remove the key from the engine bay ignition. Im so paranoid of haveing my baby stolen that the actual lable that says ON and OFF is on backwards so when the car is in the ON position it is actually OFF. Low tech Anto-theft. Edit: On second thought, Ill install the shyt for you. You bring up the switch and some 0 gauge wire, and some connectors and Ill be more than happy to wire up the kill switch for you. Im serious, page me at 610-830-1500 and leave a call back number.

Thanks, it just makes me sick to think of a bunch of bums in Reading stripping my car in someones garage and selling the parts to pay for child support.
Ill do anything to help out my fellow TST members. Even if that may mean that I have to give up my day off the install kill switches under the dash's of some Hondas.

^Thanks, Its really not that hard people.
Ill even walk people through it over the phone. Just find the switched 12v power that goes to your fuel pump and solder a switch in-line. It doesnt take more than 2 hours for everything and it WILL SAVE YOUR CAR.

but they add to the sleeper affect by making it look like a piece of junk. i totally understand where youre coming from people shouldnt steal honda's. but they do. thats why someone invented alarms, hood release relocater things, killswitches and many other preventative measures against theft. some people even take their ecu's out. anyway youre a class act offering such services for fellow members.

^Thanks, I wish someone would actually take me up on the offer. I had one guy PM me and we scheduled a Jan. 2nd session. The funny thing is, he isn't a Honda owner!

I plan on doing this very soon. I used to think this kind of stuff didnt happen until I seen some of the threads poping up on tst. I'm really scared now and I already made a plan to keep my car at a secret secure spot for my vacation this new years.
What are you guys idea about "the club" for the clutch/brake pedal? I was thinking about one of these along with a kill switch or two or three. |
