Are you going to take photos like that at this year's NE DSM meet?
Good photos. I heard from a friend that some of the cars were quite laughable.

Attendance is nothing like it used to be thats for sure. The last time I entered was in 2007, I think I attended in 09 and was rather unimpressed. I blame the economy for alot of it being its hard for younger people to just put gas in their cars let alone modify them. The other part is what Carlisle charges to just attend the event. I believe prices went down but I believe at 10 dollars a head the event would still be profitable and draw a larger crowd.

it was fun guys, you're right though. The amount of RICE that was there was definitely ridiculous to me. This was the first car show I've attended at Carlisle, and I wasn't really impressed. Though, it was a lot of fun, and I DID get in for free (THANKS TO ADVERT GRAPHICS). I dunno if I'll be attending next year, but then again, it is another car show, and I love going to them all good or bad.

Carlisle has been on a downward slide as far as quality for years. I don't even bother to make the 3 hour drive west for it anymore. Tires of feeling like I wasted the gas and the time to see 6 nice cars and 300 bombs.

^ I cant vouch for that personally as I didnt go. As for the pictures i've seen the place look pretty empty. I can remember going and there were hardly any spots and you bumped into people everywhere. I've emailed Carlisle events staff numerous times, as well as on their facebook page about bringing street rods as an additional show to the fairgrounds. I have yet to hear a response in return......pretty much sums it up for me.
