Thanks guys. Im trying my best to have it done by sonic.
Tonight, big things happened. The engine was assembled as much as possible due to the lack of parts for the heads. It was enough to get the mounts and cross member on the engine and get the engine in the car for its test fit. New GTO front sump oil pan LS2 timing chain and ported ls6 oil pump exedy clutch Sexy Daft CNC mounts and crossmember The trans tunnel had to be hammered out in order to fit the T56 The engine was put on two dollys in order to be maneuvered around as the car is lowered down onto the engine crossmember and trans mount. Short block and trans mounted in the car. Clearance was great and the mounts fit great. Then everything came back out of the bay so it can be finished and preped for paint

is it just me or does the seem like its sitting REALLY low? Awsome build I miss my LS1, funny how the stock 10-bolt rear from the f-body can barely handle stock power but yet the 240's that was meant for 165hp can handle a cammed v8.

not really that low will look alot lower once we put the front clip and skirts are on. gm 10 bolts are about the worst product gm ever put out and even the g80 posi units for them burn up easy.

sick! what are you doing for headers? I dont remember if it is daft or sikky but one of them sells long tube headers specifically for this swap

Do yourself a favor and before you do a final install get a remote bleeder for the trans and install it. Will save you a ton of headaches later down the road. Take it from me!!!
