Have any of you been on this trip? Maybe know someone who did? Im thinking about bringing my gf for her birthday since she loves whales but the few reviews ive found online dont have much good to say about the staff.

Im not so concerned about the money, I just dont want to drive two hours each way for a lousy ferry ride. Thanks

Most of them are pretty decent. I went on one up in Cape Anne. We called the visitors center and got a recommendation from them.

My family had a great time...I was puking my guts out Word of advice, take seasick pills even if you dont think you will get sick. I didnt think I would and didnt take any, my entire family took them and was fine.

Also, dont know when you are planning on going, but a lot of them usually close for the winter/cold months.

Thanks so far...I'm planning on the actual http://www.capemaywhalewatcher.com/ and it runs until December. I noticed a few others have stopped sailing already so that makes me weary as I was planning on this upcoming weekend and perhaps it'll be too late? The one you went on...did you see any marine life?

I didnt, but my family. They saw quite a few whales and I think dolphins.

Personally, I would call the visitors center and ask

i have went a bunch of times on a bunch of different ones, never saw any whales i don't think. they should call it the dolphin watcher, because that is probably all you will see. not to mention, do you realize how cold it will be out there in december? and i certainly wouldn't drive all the way down there just for that. take her to the aquarium instead.

How about adopting her a whale and taking her to the aquarium?
