Scam?

http://www.carsponsors.com/

I SAW THIS ON TV LAST NIGHT - YOU FILL EVERYTHING OUT AND THEN AT THE VERY END IT ASKS FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD? IT SAYS IT WONT BE CHARGED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE SPONSORS AND ITS A $99 FEE?

HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED THIS OR ANYTHING LIKE THIS?

there are a couple threads on here like this already, also google the website, and carsponsorships.com They're both scams.

I did it with my SVT Focus a few years back. It really does work, but only if you are going to be serious about going to shows and doing alot of modding. They don't care about bolt on **** boxes. They want cars that will make others buy their parts.

Many of the products are ricey though, I turned a ton down.

Total scam dude. My friend did something like this. The company offering sponsorship opens wholesale accounts with the aftermarket parts company that is supposedly "sponsoring" you. They will sell you the parts at a discounted price. And you usually have to pay a fee to become a member, which is how they make there money.

You have to keep in mind sponsorship isnt free. It takes time and investment on your project car/truck. If you want help getting sponsored look up Luis Martinez Designs. They can help you with building a proposal, vehicle renderings, sponsorship contacts, and etc....
