I like and have 2 canon power shots, they have always been great. Or you could go for a bridge camera, closer to a DSLR but without interchangeable lenses. Like the Canon sx50. i don't know much about nikon, sorry.

I talked with chaz, and he said canon as well. his current p&s is an older kodak easy share, which is shaped like a DSLR but functions as a P&S. I'll take a look into the canon line!

So last night my supervisor offered me a sales supervisor position in my company, Comcast which I have now worked at for 4 yrs. I am a highly likely candidate to get the job, but of course it's a major step back in pay.

I'm going to give it a shot for a 90 day interim basis where if I do not fit, I'm guaranteed my sales position back.

Excited and nervous today lol!

yea, they are small, and perform well in most conditions. The powershots have a limited optical zoom (5x) compared to a bridge camera sx50 (30x). you can get both the sx50 or the powershot elph 110 for about $200 on amazon both are 16mp.

How do you like working for Comcast? I have heard good and bad. Actually was going to apply to them a while back because they have an office in Elkton, MD which is like 20 minutes from my house.

I currently do business sales for Atlantic Broadband. In a similar position right now because a customer care supervisor position opened up and I am technically next in line for it based on qualifications, but it's less pay and more work. A lot of people are encouraging me to apply for it, which I am, but going to ask for more money than the last person who had the position made. I should of had it last time, but chose not to apply. The girl who applied only lasted 6 months in the position and chose to move on to another company.

Yeah def will get all the fine print in writing and signed.

Working for Comcast is great, very nice employees and coworkers, management for once actually puts into effect ideas/changes that we suggest, and they have a great up side in terms of our product development and home automation which is the next big thing in the industry!
