My West course run was the fastest CS run, but knowing I left time out there annoys me. Next year in STR should be fun! I've got everything but wheels and a tune ready to go now
STR NDs look like a blast. I have contemplated getting rid of the CSP car and moving to that. At least I would have a street car and could drive it on the street then.

I haven't been following ND info, how close is a ND1 to an ND2 in STR tirm?

Right now it looks like the difference is power, especially higher in the revs. ND1 tops out at like 165whp in STR prep, ND2 looks like more like 185whp. The ND1 & ND2 are pretty similar in mid range, but beyond ~5000 RPM the ND2 keeps going.

Forgot to post the ProSolo finale videos... I ended up 4th for the year with not my best driving. I put together a really solid run on the left side but had red lit on the tree and that was that. Could have won, but oh well.

Here's a playlist of the ProSolo Finale videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...lPvbi8wh69dC04

Started my STR build last night after a frustrating Philly autocross where I coned away my only runs that felt "ok" so here's the header install. Suspension later this week, hopefully.

Video of the Philly SCCA event will come soon too.

STR prep is complete (ish...) There's lightweight brake rotors, a tune, diff bushing inserts, and wheels/tires to come. Wheels/tires coming this week

Big thanks to Karcepts for all of the parts and thanks to my brother for taking care of me and getting work done

Quite a bit of firewall flex with moderate braking force...

I got my preliminary wheels & tires ready to go for STR. Waiting for my 6ULs to show up at some undetermined point in time, haha.

Excuse the filthy car, it rained today.

The 6UL struggle is real I waited so long for mine to randomly show up.

I’m buying another set to use as track wheels for Linda, but you know.. it’s a lottery whether or not they’re in stock when you’re ready to order.

Prelim wheels look great!

Thanks! They look alright I wish they had a little bit of a lip, but I'm not going to complain too much haha

I did a shakedown at WDCR today and won PAX. Brian Karwan coned away ~7 tenths, so the finishing order would have been flipped. I did improve while running noncomp and found consistent time, matching my AM times even on a changed course that added 2-3 tenths. I did have a flyer in the PM that was a LOT faster, but +3 (turned in on them like a doofus)

Even more fun, I had an STR stalwart in Noel Leslie in my car to help me dial it in. With a couple of changes it was magic

Noel's fastest run:

My fastest official run:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fatb8yzlAM

In the PM, I ran noncomp and made some car changes and it felt even better

I've now run the Karcepts setup for two events and did very well at both. Coned away a half second PAX win yesterday, had to settle for second with my last run being in the damp...

Excuse the lack of audio, water in the mic connector.

My clean run, then my dirty run:

Jon's run, he ended up a couple spots behind me in PAX, but less than a tenth off!

A singular baby would fit, but I don't think it has latch anchors, lol

thanks though, I love how it looks in STR prep
