OP could have ditched the bike and just doing this to save face when he reports it stolen. ive known people to do that, just dump the bike in the woods and file as stolen when they cant afford it, or lay it down and dont want to deal with insurance/repairs..
or, someone scoped it because it was for sale and then watched the house until its owners are gone.. only takes less than 2 minutes to steal a bike with 3 guys and 1 truck.. |

Uhh you don't know the OP so I don't think you should make assumptions like that. He's just trying to help out his friend. It's not his bike. Why don't you read the thread?

the craigslist ad was listed on the 16th, one might think that he was selling the bike someone looked at it and decided they didn't want to pay, came back and stole the bike at a later date.

I honestly thought I saw it on the 1200 block of 17th in south philly, I had to bring the pics up on my phone, it was close but not the same. That would have been awesome if it was

Yea this really makes no sense. Same bike and the lower fairing just happens to also be painted white, that's a big enough coincidence in itself.
Then you got the same black motorcycle near the bikes in both pictures. Then you have the same 2 posters on the wall as far as I can tell. Don't mean to doubt you or your friend, but something doesn't add up here |
