Finally cranked down the stock bolts... the easy way to lower a vette)

It sits a bit better now, but i'd like to go lower so i'm gonna have to get a different bolt kit for that.

I've honestly hated the wheels on this car since i bought it.

I came across a set of stock Wagon wheels super cheap, so i picked them up, made them over with some black and red, mounted new tires and here she is.

still doesn't look great, but i like these much better than those cheapo zo6 knockoffs







which do you guys prefer?

i want to sell the replicas towards oem zo6 wheels, and do those exactly like this.

the replicas aren't set up to do the red stripe well.

Well She's got new wheels again, but a small problem:












I've been planning a weekend getaway for a little while now for memorial day.

Planning on taking my Vette to the beach for the first time since I bought it.

The clutch has been slipping under heavy load for about two months now, Saturday I ordered a z06 clutch to replace it.

I figured It'd be nice to have it ready when the clutch finally says its farewell.

Monday was that day.

I leave Saturday morning.

Things are looking good, I got the old clutch out tonight and the new should arrive tomorrow.

All of the writeups I read on the install made it sound horrific....but I'm not really understanding as I've had zero issues so far.

its easy just a lot of heavy stuff to move around, people are just like wait so I have to take the whole back of my car out too?

if its a bitch to get the driveshaft to slide back in with the trans and stuff on just take the torque tube off and but that in first its about 500 times easier than trying to steer the whole rear drivetrain
