Cleanneons civic...next update August

Alright so I had the neon for a year. Bought it in august of 2005, played around with it for a bit, but I didnt like the 3-speed automatic, so I decided to sell it. Got 3k for it and I think that is a great price. Here are some pictures

Stock:

Then I went for the sound system because my speakers were blown.

Then I got DEPO Headlights and clear turns.

Then I threw some tint on it. 20% all around

Then I got a front body kit that only stayed on for a little bit when I realized how bad it looked. Couldnt afford paint

I have her Yokohama AVID H4S tires..nice and sticky

Then I got a fart can (sounded good but looked like ass) I dont have any in between pictures anymore, but this is what it looked like when I was done with it. Also got EXEL BK-7 wheels (identical to Motegi) I have a few

Me and IKozhukhin

The Civic:

I got her in July of 2006 from Broad Street Auto Sales in trenton NJ

101.5k miles
5-speed manual
Price paid:6500

At that point I just wanted a daily driver to get around in. Soon it changed.

Here she is after her first wash and wax.

Short shifter arrived!

Installed:

Then I went and picked up some IKON wheels. I love them very much

Also I got an ebay cold air intake and threw an AEM dryflow airfilter on it

Well thats all of my rice in a basket for your viewing pleasure. I plan to do a drop sometime after winter, and then possibly leave it at that for the time being. Im sure I will change my mind at least twice before I submit this thread lol. Later gang.

4/21 update

Got the car back from Ryan at Shades of Gray tint shop, and it looks nice. Changed the look of the car quite a bit. I also managed to rail a pretty big hole in the ground at about 40mph (it was raining and the thng was filled with water so i didnt see it), and put a small bend in my rim. holds air and doesnt throw off the balance.

Here it is when it was JUST finished. Pictures done by Ryan

Next day at my house to try and be more dramatic with the picture angles lol i failed

Coming next is the water pump and timing belt, and then il throw some eibach pro springs on it and see how the stock struts hold up and for how long. Also after these tires wear out, il need to invest in a set of 45 series because these are just too skinny

Just waiting for a warm day now to change up my vynils a bit. Some things will come off, and some will go on. Here is a preview.

Attempt at a rolling shot.

5/22/07-energy motor mount inserts came in
5/24/07-picked up an HKS HiPower Muffler for free
Here are a couple of mock-up shots...its gona be more tucked away and not slanted

5/25/07- Springs, and replacement endlinks arrive

Springs turned out to be brand new

Strut bars just came in at 3pm

5/28/07 - Tokico struts and camber kit arrived. Pictures

6/8/07 - Took my car over to Ray at TurboTekTuning and got lowered...it came out nicer than I thought, and once it settles, the rear is gona be the same height as the front

6/16/07

Snagged these wheels for a good price and they came wrapped in 205 40 17 Kumhu ECSTA Supra tires that are practically mint. Have minimal flaws, il post pix when they get on the car. Here is a stock photo

Well I killed 2 birds with 1 stone this past saturday night

6/16/07

Went to pick up new rims from a member here, and it finally happened.

Here are the new wheels on my car. one has a busted valve stem that im taking care of and putting them on tomorrow. photoshoot to come

6/28/07
Side exit exhaust installed by Greg or Buddris Motorsports. no muffler, stock cat and resonator, 2.5in axleback with chrome 2.5 inch tip.

I got one, but I dont like it. I want a JDM replica knob and a spoon sports boot. Il get around to that after I get my yellow fogs, blue headlights, eyelids, and drop.

I want to drop mine by about 2.5 inches. Just need to find springs that will give me that low of a drop, because I dont want to shell out big money for coilovers. Im in northeast philly

Looking good, you just need to get some eibach springs they will give you a nice ride, a decent drop with a nice sporty stance, if you go 2.5 you should get new shocks and springs...

Looks like its 1.5-1.75

My mechanic is amazing, and if I drop it any more I wont be able to get on his lift.

go with the eibach springs, you'll be okay on your stock shocks for a while. but pleaseeeee dont go with a 2.5" drop on stock shocks, it's to much stress on them and you WILL blow on, most likely while driving and it will be pretty violent

your mechanic can get your car on his lift even if you go lower. if he can't i suggest looking for a new mechanic.

Hey Clean it looks good. My sis had the same color 2 door until some idiot totalled it. I woud ike to give you some easy cheap mods to do. Springs first but not a 2.5 go less. Then get the wheels centers "spokes" powder coated a darker color and tint the windows. All are fairly cheap to do

Looks like the wheels may have to go. I really want to start saving money, and I had to avoid an accident today which ****ed my clutch. i was at a red and some buick is comin at me fast, and at this point i can tell he cant stop, so i peel out and swerve to the side. he blows the red, and from then on, my clutch isnt as grabby as it was before. slides into gear instead of catching it. looking for some cheaper wheels plus cash for mine.
