Turbo Firebird vs. Modded Carrera

I couldn't tell what exactly it was, but the Carrera was beautiful. Black with black rims with a red lip. Had what looked like an S on it and it was sporting a kit A LOT like the gt3. It was hauling ass down Tyburn rd. Stops at a light and talks to a guy behind him who must've been following him in an Acura TL. I see this really nice white Firebird pulling up on my side next to the Carrera and spot the classic card plates and a small turbo badge on the rear deck. Well, they start going and the Carrera gets on it.....this stock looking (minus big tires and slight suspension work) hits the gas (auto) spools like a mother and takes off. They were pretty much neck and neck but I couldn't keep up (nor could the Acura, lol) to see the ending.

Anyone know the owner? He was also an older guy. I was a bit confused because it wasn't a trans am body by any means.
