If you want to own a manual car then just go ahead and buy it... it wont take you long to learn.

well this is what i did. i didn't know how to drive stick. so had my friend test drive a civic. then my dad drove it home. then i would practice at home. so, if i were u, just go buy a manual car and learn.

Simple to learn, takes a matter of an hour to get the hang of it, and a matter of a few days until you are proficient.
I bought my first stick in Trenton, told my parents I could drive, limped it home, learned on the way, peeled out of the tollbooth, stalled about 20 times, etc. Next day I was already comfortably driving around my area.

you can't learn to drive stick by watching you tube videos....getting behind the wheel with trial and error is the only way to learn to do it
you'll be stopping and starting fine in about a week and it'll take you about a month or two before you can drive it without abusing the clutch

Just buy what you want. Slap a "student driver" Sign on the back and your golden while you practice. In a day you'll be fine while tweaking your skills.

That actually sounds like a good thing to do while learn. Just don't have the funds to buy a stick yet. Gonna ride it out w the auto for now. I dont think i'll have trouble learning its just that ive been waiting for just over a year now with no luck on finding a car to learn on |
