so i went out to atco last night with a couple buddies and i ran a 15.8 as my fastest time. this was my first time at the 1/4 track with my civic. i kept running low 16's and i didn't want to leave until i broke into the 15's and i finally did. then my buddy which is a "pro" driver said he can beat my time so i let em run it, he drove it 4 times down the track and he ran a 15.4 which in my eyes is an awesome time for a completely stock civic ex with stock tires and stock evertyhing. only thing i did was take out the donut and jack. what do you guys think about my these times? good/normal/bad?

For a stock car I guess they are good, I dont know anybody that races ex's so I cant compare.

yea, its good. when i saw him driving your car yesterday, i knew he would be able to get low 15's. i did low 14's in my 4dr si. i was suprised. its was a good day yesterday except the two rsx's lol

i never said I could do better, and I also never stated that i was a pro driver, I actually am far from it. =)

All i want is for you guys to become more consistent in your driving.

I was actually surprised that your car pulled the 15.4, i think a 15 flat is not out of the question with some DR's

not bad for ~120 to the wheels I was actually surprised that i pulled that from that car =)

it's ok when something breaks, its a good excuse to upgrade =)

can't wait till one of them is finished it will be a monster.

are you guys on crack??? first off... 15.2 is what the car should run. Low 14's is impossible on a stock SI. So your talking out of your ass... and also they have more than 120 to the wheels. prob close to 165 stock to the wheels. not to sound like a dick at all but i saw some whacking things being said.

I am in no means starting a war, but I would suggest that you become more informed before you say anything so you don't make yourself look bad.

Jc557 has an 07/08 Honda Civic EX 2.2 60' trapping 85 to high 86

I have everyone's slip at the shop except for his stack, but I am sure he has no problem, scanning it, if he does i will do it the next time he swings by.

and they aren't totally stock, everyone that went with us had combinations of intakes and exhausts, but nothing major.

i didn't even pick up on the EX part.... was scanning through it so fast that i didn't even see it. i wsn't starting anything either i just thought some of the statements were really weird. nevermind then.... i guess they aren't that bad of a pass... not sure what the stock ex would do in the 1/4 mile.

yea i never had a clue the ex was that quick either.
the si also did low mid 14's not exactly low 14's.

14.44 is LOW 14s? I would call that mid still.

When do they open again...I might just be ghetto about it, find a nice strip of road somewhere empty and use Dynolicious from my friend's iPhone. Those numbers can hold me over until the season starts again.

haha dynolicious, i have that on my iphone but its a 1st gen. FAIL. ATCO closed for the season so... they will open next year in the spring i guess. p.s. i'm still interested about the night shoot. i wanna bring my uncle's d80

after the first of jan. atco is open on sundays if the temp goes above 32......nice times in the ex for sure, they def have gotten faster over the years
