Quote pls.

Hi there. I just got a 2011 Kia Optima SX and am looking to tint it. I am looking at maybe 70%. I don't want to go too dark. No windshield, but everything else including behind the third brake light.

Thank you,

what you have now from factory is just about 70%. you probably are thinking 30%, but go to our website to make sure.

If what I have stock is about 70%, than wouldn't 30% basically be blacked out? Or would you account for the % that's already on there? Meaning the tint you use would actually be 40% + my 70% to = 30%. I want to keep it lighter so I don't have to worry about cops. I know most people don't get pulled over for it, but I have bad luck. Sorry. I'm a noob to this. I have read stuff, but still am unsure of certain things. In your photo gallery, the blue 2000 Subi RS has about the level I like.

the % is how much light transmittance there is. 30% is nice without being to dark.
