Stock 2011 STI Cobb AccessPORT ProTUNE
Take the following customer car as example of just the kind of magic R/T Tuning can work on a stock 2011 Subaru STI and the Cobb AccessPORT software. Mr. Ansinn's car came to us factory fresh and ready for a tune. Below you will find his baseline dyno graph which shows just how lean the cars can run at the torque peak. Que Kenny Loggins "DangerZone" and scroll down to see near stoichiometric air/fuel readings right as the power is building. We let our inhouse ProTUNER Andy Brahy and his AccessPORT software at the STI and we are all astounded by just how much we had to work with on this awesome hatchback. That isn't any dyno trickery or one time huge boost pressures here. We are talking about a stock car at a max of 17psi making these kind of numbers! This thing is a street ninja now with nearly 290whp on 93 octane fuel without making much more than a whoosh as it blasts down the street. 40 ft/lbs of torque gained! Perfect for those of you looking for a real performance car without a loud exhaust or other hallmarks of a modified Subaru. So whether you are running a big turboed monster Subie or a dead stock commuter we can make it perform better, last longer, and put a bigger smile on your face everytime you turn the key. |

Gotta love the power being made on these stock cars lately...one of the reasons the first Mod anymore is a proper tune...
Imagine if that vehicle got an exhaust or an intake on it without a tune, on an already unsafe set up....

Nice work guys. Its amazing how poor the cl/ol delay is. Lean spool as i call it lol. We see 300+ easily on them with an intake tbe and an fuel pump

Mine gained 36whp on a Mustang dyno with just a Cobb Stage 1 OTS flash and 10whp from a panel air filter.

We still looking for stock BMW 335/535s and Mazdaspeed cars to do some bone stock testing on. If you have either of these cars and would like a great hookup on the Cobb AP and dyno time please PM me.

We see more and more guys coming in with a nearly stock car that is just looking for some extra horsepower without any adverse effects to reliability or warranty. Each and every customer leaves with a smile on their face.

That isn't meant as a statement from Subaru. The AP is a unit that you can tune and then unplug. When you go to the dealer for a routine service they have no idea anything has been done to the car.
You also have access to a stock map that can be loaded with ease for the duration of the factory service. When you are ready to leave you can just load up the ProTUNE map again and be on your way. |
