Thanks for the compliments!
the first one does have a lot going on. The Declaration of Independence written on the walls, and the architecture of the glass roof. The second picture is the Liberty Bell, but made out of legos. |

first one needs to be re-taken at night. the sunlight is creating a pattern on the wall from the ceiling and ruining that photo. try again when the sun isnt out

The angle of the first throws me off... I think it takes away from the photo.
And the second, I'd try moving closer and shooting wider if you want the bell and the glass behind it... it will emphasize the bell more and maybe show some detail in it that can't be seen right now.

i love the shadow pattern on the walls in the first one, just not the crooked angle. it might even be better if you just did it in portrait mode not landscape.
2nd is nice as well, i love the interior space. and the rigid openness of the room. But if you meant it to be showcasing the liberty bell then yea i would move closer. But if it's just to show the space, it does a great good.

i think the shadow pattern would be cool if there wasnt writing on the walls. just cluttered up the way it is now and tough to read the walls which was the point of the photo if im not mistaken

I needed to get the "Airport Information" bank of monitors in the first shot, since thats what my company manages. I also wanted to show off some of the architecture of the room.
I'd love to be able to back the lens out more to get a better shot for the first one, but its all the way down to 18mm. If i had a wide angle lens, i'd love to reshoot this without the tilt. Taking the shot at night time would be nearly impossible, because of all the flights coming in in the evening. Also the sodium lights would wash a lot out. |
