Haha thanks man!

Ok, I've been working on the trailer now that I got it. I HATE the plywood interior, so now I'm on stage one of making it mine.

Screw holes puttied up and sanded down. This took a lot longer than I expected it to take.

Taped it up and painted out the trim. This is just the primer/sealer.

If you ever want to paint plywood, change your mind. What a PITA! Stuff is pourous as hell and no matter how much putty I used it still wasn't going to be flat. So I just did the best that I could with it and went from there. Tomorrow comes the actual paint.

I think your the first one on the boards to actually mod a trailer. And as far as your Civic goes, it is by far one of the nicer hatches' I have seen on here.

Yeah, 14.1 @ 114 lol. Spinning half of third. What were you driving?

I put the first coat of paint on the trailer today. Didn't get any pictures because just as I finished up we had thunderstorms roll through. Fun fun.

Pics tomorrow, possibly looking at another car but not sure.

why didnt you put the white vinal on the inside like they do when you purchase a "finished" trailor. you can buy thin sheets of it, as well as the plastic channel at home depot ?

Painting is cheaper and it came out really well so I'm not complaining. I can always vinyl it later, but I'm gonna eventually be putting stuff on the walls too.

Next is the floor.

AAROn what are you painting the floor with?

I say since it's wood, go buy VCT tiles and lay those down for the floor.
like so:

Dude, James, you read my mind. That's what I'm doing to the floor, lol.

I don't want specs though, I want a straight white and straight black tile.

What did that trailer set you back, PM me. I was really thinking about getting one for my SS to get around to the tracks once it gets more serious.

Hey Aaron, those tiles will last...ummmm 2 weeks. Rememeber there is alot of flex in trailers and such and anything glued down doesnt last. Trailer places have these textured floor sheets u can screw down that look real nice. Hopefully its a trailer for a race car not a show car so keep that in mind.
