McNabb should throw grounders practice for the Phillies infield.... he is very good at throwing the ball to the worms.

No, he's practicing hitting dogs with them

Seriously, it should be interesting to see this season.

I wonder if they will make Vick a backup QB...

And I know I'll get flamed for saying that.

The rookies looked good. They were running good behind blockers and catching balls. We lost the game because Akers missed a field goal lol.

lol sux when we lose by a field goal we NEVER used to cause Akers was the man now he missing lol oh well and this season can you imagine what a defensive line would do if they see donovan and then vick just set back off his right and westbrook to the left. I mean yea I dont like the guy for what he did and all but uhhh yea talk about confusion in the defense this year.

If we would have taken the yard for the 1st down we potentially could of gotten a touch down. Went for the fg instead... I don't remember if that was the same one he missed though.

The one he missed was about 1 minute to the end of the game. He missed it because the Patriots put a lot of pressure on his left side so he hesitated.

I have to say (and not based remotely on last nights performance).... Andy is good/great coach. He's just not a great game-manager and he isn't what I would call a "clutch" guy with the "killer instinct", in fact he's a borderline choke-artist. The fact that he's won the most games in the conference in the last 10 years, yet still hasn't won the big one, and only got there once (in 10+ years) supports that theory i think.

I think they will have a pretty good year once the offense comes together and starts clicking [possibly when Vick ends up coming in....], but again I think defense, ie. their inability to stop opposing teams from scoring (eg. Chicago marching down the field to win) , is going to be their weak spot. D-backs are good, D-Line is pretty solid, Linebackers are really really weak.

Going to be an interesting season to say the least. TONs of changes all over the field, both for the offense and defense.

Kevin Curtis will be around all season, Jackson is coming into his 2nd year, and looks like he could be a potential #1 receiver. McNabb finally had an injury-free season last year, and could keep that up. Vick should be eligible to play at some point this season, and can add a whole new bag of tricks.

Defense is in trouble though. Dawkins and Sheppard are out of town, Bradley out for the season with an ACL injury. RIP Jimmy Johnson. Its going to be tough for the unit to really get things together.

GO EAGLES!

Kevin Curtis will be around (knock on wood) all year... I hesitate to call D jackson a #1 only because he lacks the size and strength to get separation from and/or go upstairs for jump balls against top corners. A True #1 has the size and strength to be unstoppable, like Larry Fitzgerald or Hines Ward.

Last night game was pretty bad. I see it as a failure when the 1st series with your 1st stringers end in 3-and-out. Indy isn't know for a good defense either. The only play that looked good last night was the TD pass to Jackson. They still can't run the ball.

Dude, you're nuts. Indy has had a pretty good defense the last few years, Freeny is a bad mofo!

Eagles always play like crap in the preseason anyway, I have faith in them, GO BIRDS!

There's no use for the pre-season but to expose your weaknesses so you can correct them. Good job, Eagles. Patch up those holes before the real season. Let Manning's e-peen grow. We'll take him in the reg.

Guess we'll have to wait for game 1 to see how they really are then. Hope they can patch up those holes.

Is McNabb that comfortable in his position and so sure of his abilities that he can stroll off and on the field like that? Vick talked about him being lazy in Atlanta. Well, McNabb looks lazy, too. Is he just like that?
