A DJ? I don't want to listen to bad music, I want to talk to my friends. Why not have clowns too.

Edit: Looks like we are dressing CHAOS up...

I believe I refrained from calling you anythng but negative, which is obviously arguable, nor did I tell you keep your yap shut, nor did I make any mention to belittle what you guys did last year. You're welcome to your opinion, and are free to express it, but there's nothing wrong with trying to gain a little more exposure for everyone involved, including TST which is our common uniting factor. If I remember correctly, there was a TST banner there, which does put a certain ring to things, and there's really no harm involving everyone in our community, including vendors.

taylor, please. im aware that you didnt call me that, but im well aware that there is a general stigma with some of my posts. alot of people here dont like what i have to say, and i was speaking to them. i also wasnt claiming you belittled last year, i claimed that we were able to break records without the use of commercialism, and therefore its not needed.

THE ONLY reason there was a tst banner there last year is because bryan came and hung it up. NONE of the tristate operations team had anything to do with the planning but being that we didnt feel like starting drama, we let it slide. I've said it before, and ill say it again, this should not be labeled as any forum's specific event. its much bigger than that. but i suppose getting more "exposure" for something other than the charity is what the goal is here. its as if the charity is something to pretend to support while promoting a bunch of businesses.

The meet and the quality of it will only be improved by sponsor involvement, and I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise. We're taking a great event that was founded here on TST four years ago, adding awesome raffles for attendees, and looking to raise thousands of dollars for an excellent charity. The event format is essentially unchanged otherwise since we know how many look forward to it each spring.
If anyone thinks this is about anything other than having a great meet for a great cause then thats clearly something they've got stuck in their head.

For everyone who is supportive of the biggest spring meet in the area and having it benefit a great charity, we'll be looking forward to seeing you there. If you post regularly on other forums and want to help spread the word that would be a great help, just let us know where you've posted about it by linking to your thread. Please hotlink the flyer image from the first post and as we update it, it will update where you have posted it as well.

Really excited to see things come together for this event, and we've already cleared tons of parking spaces for the masses who show up .

Troll, I hope you don't mind but I used your banner to post this on the MR2 Owners Club site. It won't do much probably, but it's worth a shot... those guys tend to puss out lol.

This was my first response as well and I wasn't into it at all, but I talked to Sonic who has graciously offered to set up the DJ, and they know that we do not want loud music playing... but what the DJ can do is hop on the mic every now and again and do a raffle for us, or help us organize other things that are going on during the day.
The details can still be changed here but we were planning on reasonable volume music at the DJ table which is where the raffles will also be set up. I'm the last person who wants loud obnoxious music playing so don't worry about that.

I seem to remember last year you being bent out of shape that tst wasn't splattered all over this event. To all those who think there NEEDS to be sponsors is diluted, its the other way around. It wasn't tst or any of its "employees" that had the idea to make this a charity. But now that it is....let the teet suckling begin.

The bf and I will probably make it down, hopefully no rain this time! Since it was on a Saturday last year and he had to work, he didn't get to experience the Sonic cruise, I'm excited!!
