Doing some work with Sonic in Bensalem to get things finally legit, but I want to put together a big car show there this late summer or fall. Admission would be something like $5 or $10, but I need ideas for what it should benefit.

So far I've gotten:
Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania
Breast Cancer Research
Autism Awareness
Bensalem Township

Just trying to get a feel for whats out there, this would be my first time organizing a real show like this and I want it to go 110% smoothly the first time out. Possibility to have a DJ booth for this as well, and I'll talk to Sonic and see if they want to maybe put up 10-15% of their sales for the day for this charity as well.

Put out some ideas of what else this can Benefit, I'm sure the township won't have a problem allowing something like this.

Is that lot big enough? And with only 2 entrances and 4 business in the development what about the other business's and their patrons? Just curious about how Mom dad and little Johnny are going to get into Texas Roadhouse without being asked to pay a fee, and get parking.

And why split the benefit up so many ways, find one really good local cause.

Do a benefit for Multiple Sclerosis, someone very very close to me has it as well as many others.
I'm sure i can look through some MS newsletters and possibly find you some numbers or info to contact people to let them know or get them involved.

i thought of maybe Diabetes because my girlfriend and her family have it.

but not really feeling the lot size cuz compared to the morgantown sonic meet, bensalem sonic is kinda on the small side. but maybe something can happen out of it.

Those are just some of the ideas I've gotten. I figured if this is going to be a show for the people the benefit should be chosen by the people. I'm going to get a list of about 5-10 finalized organizations and then make a poll for 3-4 weeks, whatever gets more votes will be the charity of choice.

Also, already have a great DJ who is interested in spinning for this event, TST's own DJ J^2
