Well I've been in Jersey 4 years and finally got pulled over for the first time. My proof of insurace was expired so I got a ticket for that.

I have the non-expired one in my car now. If I bring that to court that proves I've had valid insurance since I owned the car will they dismiss that charge?

No but it can be changed to 39:3-29 Failure to exhibit documents
