Ruby Tuesday vs. Red Robin PROPOSAL / POLL

Here's a proposal for you guys:

We meet at Ruby Tuesday on ODD Thursdays during Feb and March, and Red Robin on EVEN Thursdays of Feb and March. It'll go like this.

2/03 Ruby Tuesday
2/10 Red Robin
2/17 Ruby Tuesday
2/24 Red Robin
3/03 Ruby Tuesday
3/10 Red Robin
3/17 Ruby Tuesday
3/24 Red Robin
3/31 Ruby Tuesday

This way no one gets sick of the food or paying too much to drink
AND the cops are less likely to catch onto us.

So.... VOTE!

alternating back and forth isn't a good idea... the location should be consistant... if people wanted to mix it up... then we'd post the location in ONE thread labled "This week's meet" so we can go to hooters some nights, etc...

going back and forth between 2 places will get old... although i respect the thought Jim... that'd leave to confusion. we should just review the "weekly meet" thread each week...

i dont think its a good idea either. we want to keep it simple for the regulars, and make it easy for new guys to find us as well. finding one place and sticking to it consistently is a good idea.
i was thinking that we go to The Great American Diner on Bus. Rt. 1 because its not all that busy at 7-11 pm on Thursdays. Only problem is that I dont think it'll be able to hold 40-60 of us once warmer weather rolls around and the group gets bigger.
and for another idea, how about bowling or something like that? at least during the winter we need someplace we can gather inside and hang out... if anyone has any other ideas along these lines speak up.

Bowling is a great idea!

For me, Brunswick Zone comes to mind first:

Pluses
-------

* They have the bowling
* Drinks
* They have that area with sofas and fireplace for those who just want to relax and chat instead of bowling.

Negatives
-----------

* I dunno how busy they usually get on Thursdays.
* They tend to get a lot of younger teenies
* Their lot is decent in size, but I've seen it get almost completely filled up.

Good thinking Bryan.

EVERYONE have a great weekend!

bowling sounds like a pretty cool idea... but if we go the extent of doing something like that, i'd prefer Gillians

I agree about a consistent meet location.

Gillians is a good idea, but after 10pm, you have to be 21 to get in. This would leave some people out.....

jillians and brunswick are good ideas but they have the same age restrictions after a certain time period. Brunswick you have to be 21 to sit in that lounge area or even to play pool and stuff. Might put a damper on some peeps and maybe one founding father.

I would like to keep the meet at red robin. If we are going to change it we have to change it for good. We cant keep switching, it will make it really hard for people who just like to randomly show up and not check the boards. If we wanted to try something else we should do it on a diff night. I feel thursday should be the red robin night, or atleast meet at RR and caravan somewhere else.

sorry for being young . since gillians has a age restriction policy, i agree with matt that thursdays should be RR night. Any other night we could do other things.

Sorry guys. If you move to Jillians, I would be OUT!

I know 3 ppl who have had their cars broken into/stolen there. And theirs wern't 1/2 as valuable as mine is (not counting what it is worth to me!).

Brunswick Zone would be cool as well. Have you considered maybe Neshaminy Mall? Food Court would be cool!

Willow Grove Mall is HUGE, has Ruby Tuesdays, TGI Friday's, Food Court, and tons of parking!

Willow Grove is a haul for the Jersey guys. Neshaminy Mall closes too early. I like the Brunswick Zone idea, but I hate bowling personally. Some guys have a bowling ball. I have a pool cue. It's lighter and it makes a much better weapon.

Well, there is a Pool Hall just down the street from Red Robin...

It is next to that Lazer Tag Place "Ultra Zone"
