Dustin's 1991 240sx Hatch Build

Sooooo, I've been working on this car for about a month now, in between work on my days off/when I get the time. Bought the car in Baltimore about this time a month ago.

When I bought the car, it had a built sr with je pistons, rods, hks 272 cams, worked head, fpbig28 turbo, etc. Suspenson was kyb adjustable shocks/struts with eibach springs.

Anything in red hasn't been purchased yet
Suspension/Footwork:
Stance GR+
ISIS Tension Rods
ISIS Traction Rods
ISIS Toe Rods
ISIS RUCA
Rota Grids 18x9.5 +20
225/40/18 Nankang all around
5 lug Converted
20mm/25mm Bolt-on Spacers
S14 Tie Rods

Engine Stuff:
ISIS FMIC
ISIS Dual 12" E-Fans
Power FC
GT2871r
Tune

Body/Chassis/Odds&Ends:
Type X Bumper
Type X Side Skirts
Welded Diff
Dark Purple Metallic Paint Job
New Stock Rear Bumper + Type X Valances
ISIS Power Steering Line

I know I'm leaving stuff out, but on to the pictures.

Start of the 5lug

5lug done, stance coilovers on, isis tension rods up front.

Harness ziptied up, type-x will be on soon.

Will update as things come along. I need to put on my traction and toe rods in the back then the suspension is complete.

Next project is to roll and pull the fenders to fit these wheels get an alignment at r/t

Suspension parts are all on, need to spend some time and adjust the rear alignment so I can make the drive up to r/t unless I get a trailer.

Need to cut out my battery box and get my front mount mounted, find a relay kit for my e-fans, pull my rears, and get my 25mm spacers on, a long with getting fenders, bumper, and skirts mounted fully

Fender just resting on the car there, going to drill out and mount next week. And yeah, the front needs to go down about 2.5 inches.

Also have a fuel leak back towards the pump I'm assuming, haven't had the chance to check it out yet and only leaks when it's running. Awesome.

More updates next week

Today I replaced the fuel filter and one of the soft lines with it.
Got rid of the side mount intercooler and got my isis fmic on, as you can see obviously.

In the process of hacking up my bumper support so the intercooler can fit. Tomorrow I'm drilling out the holes for the fenders, cutting up the bumper support, putting a new drain plug on, and fixing my rear alignment so the car is driveable. I want a metal intake pipe for my turbo, and a new filter.

Thanks. It was actually supposed to be done by now, but I was supposed to be out $500 for a deductible on my truck, so I lost motivation to work on it the last two weeks and wasted some money. Then turned out I didn't have to pay it out of my pocket meaning I lost 2 weeks of work and money I wasted wouldve went to spare wheels and tires.

Hopefully these thunderstorms hold off long enough tomorrow for me to finish what I need done.

What ever happened to this car?

Does it still exist?

We need Dustin/Dustin Tandem in 2011.

DO IT!
