how to remove center console on '01 M5?

Hello: i recently acquired an 01 M5, with the intention of fixing it up and selling it again. it really didnt need that much work, but i'm doing a bunch to it anyways to make it perfect.

well i bought a new shift knob and boot, and a new parking brake handle. the shift knob and boot was easy to figure out how to change out. however, i cannot figure out how to get this damn console off so i can get at the bolts to undo the parking brake handle. can anyone explain how this is done? it would be an immense help!

here are some pics of it. i helped the dude i bought it from lower it on koni yellows and H+R springs a while back. the thing is NICE...

honestly man... i can only guess on how it comes out. But its not always hard to do things like that. I was in a 350 Z and the console just pulled off. I didn't even need tools lol. So it could be a stupid thing like that.
